I served the chicken over steamed carrots with rice. They didn't have shitake mushrooms so I used crimini but it was still good. Served with pasta and green beans to round out a tasty dinner. I always serve this chicken with wild rice, as I think it's the perfect accompaniment. But plain white or brown rice work just as well.
