I promised to share this pickled radish & carrot recipe with you all, and I did! But the recipe and the pictures were quite old, so I decided to update! 🙂. The cutting knife I used for this recipe is the thickest one. (Right side one of three julienne knives in the picture). You can keep this pickled radish.

Instructions to make Raddish-Carrot Mixed Pickle:
  1. To a heating pan add oil. When the oil is hot add mustard seeds. When the mustard seeds start to pop, add red chillies and fry it lightly.
  2. Add chopped raddish, carrot and green chillies to the pan. Mix it well. Cover the pan with a lid. Allow it to cook for 3-4 minutes.
  3. Now add turmeric powder, fenugreek powder, asafoetida powder, sugar, salt and vinegar. Mix it well and cook for another one minute.
  4. Serve it hot or cold as a side dish with Rice or Roti.
