This is my revised version of another pork fried rice recipe. I often substitute chicken for pork, and it doesn't change anything. I have used both basmati rice and long-grain rice which gives the dish only a slight flavor difference.

The ingredients needed to make Pork Fried Rice:
  1. Get 1 (carryout) box overnight white rice
  2. Make ready 3 eggs
  3. Take 1/4 lb thin cut pork tenderloin, cut into strips

  5. Take 2 Tbsp shred carrot, minced
  6. Take 2 Tbsp veg. oil

  8. Take 1 Tbsp soy sauce
  9. Take 1 tsp rice wine
  10. Make ready 1/4 tsp salt
  11. Get 1 tsp sugar
  12. Make ready 1 Tbsp water
  13. Get 1 tsp sesame oil
  14. Make ready ~~ Seasoning ~~
  15. Make ready salt & white pepper

Whisk together the soy sauce, hoisin, Shaoxing wine, honey, sesame oil and garlic in a medium bowl until combined. Fried rice originated in China during the Sui Dynasty and is a popular stir-fried dish in many different cultures. Add carrots, peas, and rice and stir to combine. Pork Fried Rice doesn't sound all that glamorous at first blush, but when done right, it is truly awesome.

Steps to make Pork Fried Rice:
  1. Mix pork with marinade and marinate for 10 minutes; Whisking eggs with salt till blend well; Put white rice into a bag then lightly separate it.
  2. Heat a pan with 1 Tbsp veg. oil. Stir-fry pork strips till turning brown. Then put it in a bowl.
  3. Heat 1 Tbsp veg. oil in the same pan and pours in eggs cooked till the edge turning into white. Then Put rice in and gently stir fry till rice and eggs combined well.
  4. Add in minced carrot and pork strips (with pork juice) continuing stir fry everything till pork juice and rice combined well.
  5. Before finished, sprinkle green onions on top and season with salt & pepper. Enjoy!

Just writing this post is making me hungry! Start by combining the hot water, honey, sesame oil, Shaoxing wine (or dry sherry), soy sauce, dark soy sauce, and white pepper in a small bowl. Add the peas, shiitakes, carrot and bok choy and stir-fry until tender. Add the eggs and scramble just until set. Heat half the oil in a hot wok until surface seems to shimmer.
