The ingredients needed to make Lemon Jelly:
  1. Get 5-6 Lemon (medium size)
  2. Get 1 cup Sugar
  3. Prepare 1/2 cup Water
  4. Make ready 1/3 cup Corn flour
  5. Make ready pinch yellow food colour
  6. Get 1/3 cup Starined lemon extract
  7. Prepare 1 cup Water
  8. Get To taste Lemon zest
Steps to make Lemon Jelly:
  1. Heat a pan add sugar, water(1/2 cup), lemon zest & peels. Mix well and get the syrup just to boil. Take off the flame cool completely. Starin off lemon peels.
  2. In a bowl add corn flour, lemon extract, water(1 cup) and few pinches of turmeric. Mix well and form a completely lump free batter. - Heat a pan add the prepared batter and stir well continously until theixture turns thick.
  3. Add in the sugar syrup and mix well until the mixture turns glossy.(this would take around 5-7 mins) turn off the flame. - To a greased pan or cup pour the mixture tap gently twice. - Allow it to set in refrigerator to about 2-3 hours. - - Note : setting time depends on the mould used. Bigger theouldore the time. Smaller the mould less the time.
  4. After being refrigerated for 3 hours now. Enjoy lemon jelly serve chilled.
