- Add 1/4 cup water and pressure cook till soft.
- Cool and rub through a sieve after mashing in the mixer. Set the juice aside.
- Heat oil and add gram flour. Fry it, stirring continuously. When it turns brown, add cumin seeds, asafetida, chillies and turmeric powder.
- After a minute, add tomato juice. Boil, reduce flame and cook uncovered for about five minutes.
- Add corn cobs, salt and sufficient water. Cook till the gravy thickens.
- Cover the curry partially and cook on slow heat, stirring occasionally for about 20 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
