- Prepare 1 packages bacon
- Prepare 1 whole turkey

- Preheat oven to 325*
- let thawed turkey sit at room temperature for a bit before opening.. Remove packaging, remove all the inners from turkey & place in pan
- melt stick of butter, then rub all over turkey and put the rest inside the bird, and put lemon juice inside turkey as well
- rub a generous amount of the salt, pepper, garlic salt & powder over entire turkey ( feel free to add any extra spices or herbs to turkey)
- place as much bacon as you desire to the top of turkey (breast facing up)
- put warm water in bottom of the pan
- place turkey in oven with tinfoil covering just the top of the turkey
- base turkey every 40 minutes or so, you may need to add some extra water to bottom of pan
- cook for about 4 hours or until turkey is no longer pink
- let sit for 15 minutes before serving
- now enjoy
